Hanabi, or fireworks is one of the common sights in Japanese summer. This one was taken in Buzen, a city in the eastern coast of Kyushu Island.

Kokura Gion Daiko festival has its roots from more than 350 years ago. During this festival, youngsters from all over the area will parade their "dashi" and beat the drums in their own fashion. As normal with other Japanese festivals, stalls are erected selling various stuffs for the visitors.

So on 9th Jun I went on a trip to Nagasaki. Stopped at Sasebo beforehands visiting the Huis Ten Bosch theme park. It was a very beautiful place where bits of Netherlads are recreated inside, toghether with several amusement. I had myself printed on the Movie Grand Oddyssey poster. Wish I were there in ealy spring so that I could catch them tulips.

On the next day we went around Nagasaki Atomic Bomb memorial area, and also had the chance to go to the Museum. It was an eye opener to me as what a nuclear detonation could do. So -yes, stop the nuclear race by all means...

Today is quite sad day. 2 sweet girls are leaving our company after after 9 months. Anyway, I believe that the road that they have taken should yield better result in their future lives. To Azian & Fuzah, all the best and don't forget us here in TEM, although you were here for only a short time.

Ferry from Inside a Ferry

I have never got the chance to drive around the Penang island. Normally I'd take a plane there, and almost all my trip there were for business only. This time I had a chance to feel myself on the island, although just for a short while to attend a friend's (Black) wedding reception.

Thanks to Pojie for the photo tips

nice beb

Serenity

Looking to the skyline with the paddyfield as the background somewhat brought back lots of childhood memories. It was the time where I played around this kind of paddyfields, catching fishes such as the snakeheads and the catfishes as one of the main activities. It was also the time when I went back home covered all over with mud and Mak would wait for me at home with a stick.. Hahaha

This picture was taken at Kampung Kadok, a small village a little bit south of Kota Bharu. I was there to check on a piece of land that an uncle of mine is selling, and stumbled upon this "viewtiful" scenery.

This is my first entry in this page. Just got myself a Sony Ericsson K800i Cyber-shot - still far from a dedicated DSC, but the quality of the images does worth the price counting its portability.

Today is the 10th of Dzul-Hijjah, the day of Eid-ul-Adha. This is my first time to have my own sacrifice after 30 years of living on this lovely earth. Here, is some of the photos that I took during the event in my village.
